War Memorial

This memorial commemorates the residents of Walsoken who were killed or missing in World War I (123 names) and World War II (6 names).

Many of these memorials were erected after the First World War. After the Second World War, the names of those who died in that war were also added to the memorial.

The photograph was taken after an accident has happened and if you look closely you can see a motorbike in the ditch on the opposite side of the road to the cars.  The small boy in front of one of the cars is Clifford Woolley.
